Just on the news last night, common flea over the counter flea control products like Hartz flea shampoo, Bio Spot and others are killing cats and dogs and the companies will not take responsibility.

  • (S)-Methoprene
  • Pyrethirins
  • Piperonyl Butozide
  • synthetic of pyrethroids

    • The problem with Pyrethirins and Pyrethroids is that they are poisonous and are used as pesticides such as Raid ant and Roach killers.

    I just Googled Sergeant’s flea control and this is what their heading says in the results “Sergeant’s wants to keep your cat healthy and happy.”  So why is it killing so many cats?

    These are not isolated deaths. Numerous cases of seizure and vomiting.  Thousands of deaths that even the EPA does not have a handle on.  EPA will not speak to reporters but says it will do some investigating of the causes of  Bio Spot will not take responsibility

    Many don’t know this but Marigold Flowers are a natural anti-flea repellant.  Fleas don’t like the flowers so it would be great to plant some in your yard.  Can’t hurt!
